Can I support SearchScene by randomly clicking on lots of ads?

No, unfortunately you cannot support SearchScene by randomly clicking on lots of ads. In fact, randomly clicking on ads on SearchScene may hurt us. Randomly clicking on ads with no intention to buy anything from the merchant site is known as click-fraud. Any unnatural click-activity (e.g. a disproportionately high number of ad-clicks, as a proportion of search queries, coming from the same IP address) results in any revenue we may have earned from those ad-clicks being removed by our search partner, Bing. If this sort of activity continues, Bing may penalise us, suspend us or even terminate us as a search partner. This would be bad! Please don't randomly click on our ads!

The best way to use SearchScene is to install one of our browser extensions (on desktop computers) and/or install one of our apps (on mobile phones), and then use SearchScene as you would normally use Google, Bing or your existing search engine. Over time, your ad revenues will build up and, if we all come together, we can truly make a huge positive difference in the world.
